The KJ4B-0600 is an industrial water-based inkjet printhead from Kyocera’s KJ4B series, also written as KJ4B-600 or KJ4B-EX600, and is one of the established earlier models in the lineup. Driven by piezoelectric ceramic technology at its core, it maintains steady ink ejection even during high-speed operation. It is commonly used in printing receipts, invoices, and documents, as well as in anti-counterfeit security printing carried out with MICR magnetic ink, and it is equally capable of pattern printing on textiles and similar materials, suiting both single-pass and multi-pass production lines.

Inside the printhead are a filtering structure and a temperature-control heating element. The former keeps fine contaminants in the ink away from the nozzles, while the latter compensates automatically for changes in the surrounding temperature, keeping the ejection of every droplet more consistent. This reduces common issues such as nozzle clogging and ink starvation, resulting in more stable operation.
