M026887 is the original GEN5 printhead assembly supplied for the Mimaki UCJV300 series of UV roll-to-roll print-and-cut machines. This part number is the manufacturer’s latest revision and has superseded the earlier M022624 within the supply chain, while M022624 itself previously replaced the even older M020236. The succession order runs from M020236 to M022624 and then to the current M026887. If the part number shown on your equipment service documentation or past purchase records is an older one, simply order M026887 as the corresponding replacement.

Compatible Models

This printhead fits a range of UV print-and-contour-cut all-in-one machines, including the Mimaki UCJV300-75, UCJV300-107, UCJV300-130, UCJV300-160, and UCJV150-160; some equipment lists also note it as a compatible part for the CJV300-160. Please note that this printhead is not suitable for the JFX200 series of flatbed machines. The corresponding part number for the JFX200-2513 and JFX200-2531 flatbed models is M022625. Although both are developed on the Ricoh GEN5 platform, their internal structure and calibration differ and they are not interchangeable.

This printhead is built on the Ricoh GEN5 printing platform. It consists of four rows of nozzles, with 320 nozzles per row, for a total of 1,280 nozzles, at a nozzle density of 600 nozzles per inch. The native drop volume is 7 picoliters, with variable drop output supported across a 7 to 35 picoliter range. Combined with 8-level greyscale technology, it delivers smooth, finely graded tonal transitions. It supports both 2-color and 4-color configurations, with a maximum jetting frequency of up to 60 kHz. The printhead integrates a heating module and a thermistor element for temperature control, and is designed specifically for UV-curable inks.
