Roland part number 1000007062 (PAD,CUTTER GX-640) is the cutting strip for the CAMM-1 GX-640, the widest model in the GX cutting plotter line. It is mounted in the platen right beneath the blade and runs the full cutting width of the machine. This is a genuine, original Roland part – not a copy or compatible replacement.
A cutting strip is a wear part. Over time the blade leaves grooves and cuts in its surface, and on a 64-inch machine the wear is rarely even. Typical results are cut-through of the release liner in some areas, incomplete cuts in others, slightly wavy long lines and blades that break or dull early. If adjusting the blade force no longer gives consistent results across the sheet, replacing the strip is the right fix.
