Epson F1080 Printhead
The Epson F1080 print head (model F1080-A1) is one of the most popular print heads used in DTF, UV flatbed, and eco-solvent printing.
The F1080-A1 and FA09121 are actually the same print head from the same Epson production line — the only difference is the version code on the chip. They work with the same printers and perform exactly the same.

F1080 and XP600 — What’s the Difference?
The F1080 is Epson’s officially released print head. It has the same specs as the XP600 but comes brand new with the official Epson logo.
The XP600 is pulled from Epson consumer desktop printers, cleaned, and resold. Prices range from $50 to $200 depending on condition. The F1080, on the other hand, is always brand new from Epson.
You’ll often see both names listed together in DTF printer specs — manufacturers use them interchangeably because the core technology is the same.
Bottom line: Go with the F1080 if your budget allows. A good-quality used XP600 is also a solid option if you’re on a tighter budget.
