HP A3 Printbar Overview
The 9U502A is the A3 printbar for HP’s OEM Fixed Imager 1000 (FI-1000) – a fixed, page-wide HP PageWide thermal inkjet printhead that covers the full 297 mm (11.7 in) print zone in a single pass. HP supplies the FI-1000 engine to machine builders, so the same printbar sits inside label, envelope and packaging presses sold under many different brand names.
Replace the printbar when you see banding or missing nozzles that cleaning no longer recovers, or when the machine reports that the printhead is not recognised. Each unit is a genuine HP part, shipped in HP’s sealed factory box.
