The Roland 6702929040 (ASSY,FEED MOTOR GS-24) is the feed motor of the CAMM-1 GS-24 desktop cutter. It drives the grit roller, which moves the vinyl forwards and backwards under the blade, so it is responsible for the front-to-back axis of every cut. This is a genuine, original Roland part – not a copy or compatible replacement.
When the feed motor starts to fail, the media no longer moves as precisely as it should. Typical symptoms are a motor error during loading or cutting, media that stops or stutters, a whining or clicking noise from the right side of the machine, letters that are squashed or stretched in the feed direction, and long jobs where the cut drifts out of position. Checking the drive pulley and motor cable first is good practice; if they are fine, the motor itself needs replacing.
