Konica Minolta KM1024i MAE-C Printhead

The Konica Minolta KM1024i MAE-C features a robust shear-mode piezoelectric drop-on-demand design with a high-density 4-line nozzle structure (256 nozzles per line, 1024 nozzles total). Precise nozzle alignment delivers superior positioning accuracy, producing high-definition image quality even at high printing speeds.

Unlike conventional three-cycle drive systems, the KM1024i MAE-C runs a fully independent drive system that fires all 1024 nozzles simultaneously. This dramatically boosts productivity, making it an excellent platform for single-pass, high-speed inkjet printer development.

Optimised for aqueous inks, the KM1024i MAE-C operates at a maximum drive frequency of 45 kHz — striking the ideal balance between speed, resolution, and long-term reliability.

Version Compatibility Notice

All KM1024i MAE-C printheads currently in stock are the new 3-dot variant (identifiable by three dots printed on the head label). The earlier dot-free version has been discontinued and is no longer available.

Please be aware that certain Liyu and Agfa printers originally equipped with the dot-free version may not automatically recognise the 3-dot head. If this occurs, the printer’s head driver board will need to be upgraded to a version compatible with the current Konica Minolta printhead generation.
