Mimaki M006954 Overview
The Mimaki M006954 Joint Valve Assy is the connector that joins the ink damper to the ink supply line in the JV33, JV5 and CJV30 printers. It forms a sealed connection in the ink path just before the print head, so that ink flows to the damper without air getting in. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.
Replace the joint valve when it is cracked, swollen by solvent ink, or no longer seals, or when you see ink leaks or air bubbles at the damper connection. Air in the ink line leads to missing nozzles, unstable ink supply and repeated cleaning, so it is good practice to fit new joints when replacing dampers.
