The Mimaki M018988 is an original pump shared by many current Mimaki machines: the UJF-Mk2 flatbed family (Mk2, Mk2EX, Mk2e, Mk2EXe), TS300P, CJV300, JV300, UCJV300, the 3DUJ-2207 3D printer, UJV100-160, TS100-1600, JV100-160 and TS55. Pumps in the ink system move ink through the tubes, and in the maintenance system they create the suction that pulls ink and air out of the print heads during cleaning. A pump in good condition is essential for stable printing and for recovering clogged nozzles. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

Replace the pump when cleaning no longer recovers missing nozzles, when suction is weak or absent, when the pump makes unusual noise or does not run, or when it leaks ink. Worn internal parts or ink that has dried inside the pump are common causes of failure, especially on machines that are used heavily or left idle for long periods.
