The Mimaki E112227 is the MN-SL Connection ENC Cable Assy for the UJF-A3 MkII, UJF-6042 MkII and UJF-3042 MkII UV flatbed printers. It is a cable on the carriage (slider) board connection between the MN and SL sides of the electronics, and as the ENC in its name indicates, it is used for the encoder signal path. It is flexed continuously as the carriage moves back and forth during printing. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

Replace the cable when the printer reports encoder, carriage or communication errors, when faults appear only at certain carriage positions, or when the cable or its connectors are cracked, worn through or contaminated with ink. A damaged carriage cable can look like a board or encoder failure, so checking it first can save an expensive repair.
