Mimaki E300589 Overview
The E300589 is the original diaphragm pump for the Mimaki UJV-160 UV printer. A diaphragm pump moves liquid by flexing a membrane, which lets it pump ink or air gently and reliably without the liquid touching moving metal parts. In the printer it provides the flow needed by the ink system. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.
Over time the diaphragm and valves inside the pump wear, harden or become blocked by cured UV ink, and the motor can fail. Typical symptoms are weak or no flow, ink supply or pump errors, tanks that do not fill, poor cleaning results, unusual noise, or ink leaking from the pump body. Because UV ink can cure inside a pump that stands idle, a pump that has failed is usually best replaced rather than repaired.
