This Epson DX7 printhead comes in three versions: not coded, 1st coded, and 2nd coded. This particular unit is the 1st coded version. As shown in the image, the identification method is as follows: the number circled in red is 171603, with the first 4 digits being 1716. If this number is less than 1530, it is the 1st coded version
