Epson I3200-A1 Water Printhead
The Epson I3200-A1 Water is a 1.33-inch printhead made for water-based inks. It’s commonly used in professional printers and offers good speed with solid image quality at 600 dpi.
The I3200-A1 and I3200-A1 HD use the same basic head structure, but they are not interchangeable. Each printer must use the version it was designed for.
- I3200-A1 supports up to 4 colors, with 4 ink inlets. Each color uses two nozzle rows.
- I3200-A1 HD supports up to 8 colors, with 8 ink inlets. Each color uses one nozzle row.

What’s the difference between I3200-A1 and I3200-A1 HD?
They’re different heads and can’t be swapped. Your printer is designed for one specific model, so please confirm the original head before ordering.
Can the I3200 be used with water-based inks?
Yes. The I3200-A1 Water version is made for water-based inks and is commonly used for high-resolution printing.
Will the I3200 work with my printer?
It depends on the printer. Each machine is built for either the A1 or A1 HD version. It’s best to check with us first.
What about warranty?
All I3200 printheads we sell are original and brand new from Japan. Since printheads are consumables, there’s no extra warranty beyond that.
Should I replace cables when installing a new I3200?
Yes, we recommend it. Replacing the head cables and related parts helps protect the new head and keeps things running stable.
