The Roland ASSY,BASE SHEET 2 GX-24 (part 22355647, also listed as 6877009040) is the base sheet assembly that forms the media path of Roland’s 24-inch class desktop cutters. It fits the GX-24 and GS-24, the older CX-24 and CX-12, and the CM-24 and CM-12. This is a genuine, original Roland part – not a copy or compatible replacement.
The base sheet is the surface the vinyl slides over as it is fed in and out under the pinch rollers. When it gets scratched, dented, peeled or warped, media no longer runs smoothly: you may see vinyl catching on the edge, scratches on the face of the material, skewing on long jobs or a cutting surface that is no longer flat. Replacing the sheet restores a clean, even path and is especially worthwhile when refurbishing a used cutter.
