Part 6700299020 (ASSY GUIDE BEARING GX-500) is the guide bearing assembly for the tool carriage of the Roland CAMM-1 GX and CX series. It fits the GX-500, GX-400 and GX-300 as well as the CX-500, CX-400 and CX-300. This is a genuine, original Roland part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

The guide bearings run along the carriage rail and keep the cutting head steady while it moves at speed. When the bearings wear, flat spots form or play develops, and the carriage starts to rock slightly. The results are easy to see: wobbly or wavy lines, small text that looks shaky, inconsistent cutting depth, a rattling or rumbling sound as the carriage travels and premature wear on the rail. Replacing the guide bearing assembly restores a firm, smooth carriage.
