Roland part 21715112 (FAN,AD7524UB TW) is the media suction fan of the CAMM-1 GX-24 desktop vinyl cutter. It draws air through the platen to hold the media flat while the blade is cutting. This is a genuine, original Roland part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

When the suction fan fails or becomes weak, the media is no longer held down firmly. This leads to vinyl lifting or rippling under the blade, small letters and fine details tearing instead of cutting cleanly, inconsistent cutting depth and media that shifts during long jobs. A noisy, rattling or stopped fan is a clear sign it needs replacing. Because Roland no longer produces this fan, it is a good idea to order one while stock lasts.
