The Mimaki M026616 AR clamp assy (also listed as MP-M026616) is the pinch roller (clamp) assembly for the CG-60AR, CG-100AR and CG-130AR cutting plotters. It presses the media down onto the grit roller so that the media is gripped firmly and moves back and forth precisely while the cutter works. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.
Accurate cutting depends on the media not slipping. When a clamp assembly is worn, cracked or loses its pressure, the media can slip, track sideways or drift during long jobs. Typical symptoms are cut lines that do not meet, contour cuts that move away from the printed image, media walking off the rollers, and marks or uneven pressure lines on the media.
