Original Mimaki TS300-1800 / TX300P-1800 Cap Absorber – M802448

The Mimaki M802448 cap absorber is the absorber pad used in the capping area of the TS300-1800 sublimation printer and the TX300P-1800 textile printer. It soaks up ink that is released from the printheads around the caps during cleaning and flushing, so the ink does not pool in the maintenance station. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

Absorbers fill up and harden with dried ink over time. A saturated absorber can overflow, wet the caps and wiper, transfer ink back onto the printheads, or drip into the machine and onto the media. Replace it when it looks saturated or crusted, when you notice ink drips near the home position, or during regular maintenance of the capping station. A fresh absorber keeps the cleaning area clean and helps the heads stay in good condition.
