Original Mimaki UCJV300 / UCJV150 / UJF-3042MkII Mist Filter – SPC-0819

The Mimaki SPC-0819 is the mist filter used in the UCJV300 and UCJV150 print-and-cut printers and the UJF-3042MkII UV flatbed. When the heads fire, a fine mist of ink droplets is created. The mist filter traps these droplets in the airflow, so they do not settle on the carriage, the head nozzle plates, the encoder or the electronics. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

As the filter fills with ink it loses airflow and stops capturing mist effectively. With UV ink this can leave cured deposits on the carriage underside, the nozzle plate and nearby sensors. Signs that the filter needs replacing include a visibly dark or saturated filter, more frequent nozzle problems, ink dust on the machine and warnings in the maintenance menu. Mimaki treats the mist filter as a regular maintenance item.
