Mimaki SPC-0657 Overview
The Mimaki SPC-0657 is the filter for the LED-UV curing unit of the UJF-3042, UJF-3042FX and UJF-3042HG UV flatbed printers, supplied as a pack of 20 pieces. The filter sits at the LED-UV unit on the carriage and keeps ink mist and dust out of the unit, protecting the LED lamp and its cooling path. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.
During printing, ink mist collects on the filter and UV ink can cure on it. A dirty or clogged filter reduces airflow, lets contamination reach the LED unit and can lead to weaker or uneven curing, overheating warnings and a shorter lamp life. Replace the filter whenever it is visibly dirty or as part of the regular maintenance schedule. Having a pack of 20 on hand means the filter can be changed as often as needed without waiting for parts.
