Mimaki SPC-0656 Overview
The Mimaki SPC-0656 is the filter sponge fitted in front of a cooling fan on the UJF-3042, UJF-3042FX, UJF-3042HG and UJF-6042 UV flatbed printers. It traps dust and ink mist from the air flowing through the fan, protecting the electronics and UV components from contamination. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.
Fan filters are consumable items. Replace the filter when it looks dark, clogged or covered with ink mist, when airflow becomes weak, or when the printer starts to show temperature warnings. A blocked filter makes the fan work harder and lets components run hotter, which can shorten the life of the UV lamp and boards. Regular replacement as part of routine maintenance keeps the printer cooling correctly.
