Original Mimaki UJF-3042MkII / UJF-6042MkII UV LED Lamp Glass Cover – SPA-0290

The Mimaki SPA-0290 (original name: LED Glass) is the glass cover that protects the UV LED lamp on the carriage of the UJF-3042MkII and UJF-6042MkII UV flatbed printers. The UV light that cures the ink passes through this glass, while the glass keeps ink mist and dust away from the LED elements. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

Over time, ink mist settles on the glass and cures there, forming a film that blocks part of the UV light. A scratched or cracked glass has the same effect. The result is weaker or uneven curing: prints stay tacky, ink smears or rubs off, adhesion is poor, or gloss varies across the print. When cleaning no longer helps, replacing the glass cover restores full UV output and protects the LED unit itself.
