Original Mimaki UJF-6042 Linear Encoder Strip – E300969

The Mimaki E300969 is the linear encoder strip for the UJF-6042 UV flatbed printer. The strip runs along the carriage path and is read by the encoder sensor on the carriage, telling the printer exactly where the heads are so that each drop is fired at the right position. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

Replace the encoder strip when it is scratched, bent, or contaminated with ink or UV mist that cannot be cleaned off. Typical symptoms of a bad strip are vertical banding, blurred or doubled prints, bidirectional misalignment, and carriage or encoder errors at certain positions across the print width.
