Original Mimaki UJF-6042MkII / UJF-3042MkII / UCJV300 Pump Reduction Gear – M602804

The M602804 is the intermediate reduction gear in the pump drive of Mimaki UJF-6042MkII and UJF-3042MkII UV flatbed printers and the UCJV300 and UCJV150 UV print-and-cut printers. It sits between the motor and the pump and reduces the motor speed to the torque the pump needs. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

Plastic gears wear down or lose teeth after long use, especially if dried ink makes the pump harder to turn. When this gear fails, the motor may run while the pump does not move, or the pump turns irregularly with clicking or grinding noises. The result is weak suction during cleaning, ink not being drawn from the caps, nozzles that do not recover, or waste ink left in the capping station. Replacing just the gear is a quick and cheap repair.
