Original Mimaki UJV100-160 Cap Absorber Pad – SPC-0842

The Mimaki SPC-0842 is the ink absorber pad for the capping station of the UJV100-160 UV roll-to-roll printer. The capping station covers the print heads at rest and collects ink during cleaning and flushing, and this pad absorbs that ink so it does not pool around the caps or spread into the maintenance area. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

With UV ink the pad slowly fills and ink near the surface can cure into a hard layer. A saturated or hardened pad lets ink overflow, prevents the caps from sealing properly and can contaminate the nozzle plate and wiper. Typical symptoms are wet or crusted pads, ink puddles in the station, nozzles drying while the machine is idle and cleanings that no longer recover the nozzle check. Replace the pad when it is full and during routine maintenance.
