Mimaki MP-KI3781-AALF Overview
The Mimaki MP-KI3781-AALF is a photo interrupter sensor used in the UJV100, TS100 and JV100 printers. A photo interrupter has a light emitter and a receiver facing each other across a small slot; when a flag or moving part passes through the slot, the beam is broken and the printer detects the position or state of that mechanism. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.
Replace the sensor when the printer reports origin, home-position or detection errors, when a mechanism keeps moving past its stop point, or when the sensor is cracked or contaminated with ink. Before replacing, check that the slot is clean and the cable is connected; if the error remains, the sensor itself has usually failed.
