This is the main board assembly, part number 7485220000 (MAIN BOARD ASS'Y PIX-30), for the Roland PIX-30 and PIX-4 desktop 3D scanners. These compact contact-probe scanners are still used in many workshops to digitize small models, coins, reliefs and prototypes, and the main board is the heart of the machine. This is a genuine, original Roland part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

The board reads the signal from the scanning probe, drives the axis motors and handles communication with the scanning software on the PC. When it fails, the scanner may not power up, the status LED may blink without the machine initializing, the PC may no longer detect the scanner, or scans may stop part-way with communication errors. If the power supply, cables and probe have been checked and the fault remains, replacing the main board is usually the next step.
