Roland part number 1000014754 (WIPER,HEAD VG-640) is the head wiper used throughout the TrueVIS range – the VG-540 and VG-640, VG2-540 and VG2-640, VG3-540 and VG3-640, the SG, SG2 and SG3 printer/cutters and the VF2-540 and VF2-640. This is a genuine, original Roland part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

The wiper sweeps across the print heads during every cleaning to remove ink and debris from the nozzle surface. With use the wiper edge wears, deforms or becomes coated with ink, and cleaning results get worse: you may see streaks in solid fills, nozzles that drop out again shortly after cleaning, deflected lines or ink drops on the media.
