Roland part W701406020, ASSY,POWER BOARD VS-640, is the power board for the VersaCAMM VS-300, VS-420 and VS-540, the VS-300i, VS-540i and VS-640i, and the VersaEXPRESS RF-640, RE-640, RA-640 and RT-640. This is a genuine, original Roland part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

This board is part of the printer's power circuit and handles power distribution inside the machine. Faults on the power board can look very similar to a failed power supply: the printer does not switch on or switches off again straight away, the machine resets during printing, heaters or motors do not receive power and report errors, or a fuse or component on the board is visibly burnt. Testing the power supply output first, then replacing the power board, is the usual repair route.
