The Roland W702921040 (ASSY,CROP MARK BOARD GS-24) is the crop mark sensor board of the CAMM-1 GS-24. Mounted on the cutting carriage, it detects the printed crop marks on pre-printed media so the GS-24 can line up contour cuts accurately with the graphics. This is a genuine, original Roland part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

When this board is faulty, print-and-cut work becomes impossible or unreliable. The cutter may fail to detect crop marks at all, report a crop mark error, detect marks only on certain media colours, or cut with an offset from the printed design. Cleaning the sensor window is always worth a try first, but if detection still fails, the sensor board should be replaced.
