Original Roland XD-CH4 Blade Holder for GR-640 / GR-540 / GR-420 and GR2 Cutters

The XD-CH4 is the blade holder designed for Roland’s CAMM-1 GR series cutting plotters. It fits the GR-640, GR-540 and GR-420 as well as the newer GR2-640, GR2-540 and GR2-420. The blue XD-CH4-BL is the holder supplied with the machine; red (XD-CH4-RD) and orange (XD-CH4-OR) versions are also available, which many operators use to keep holders with different blades apart. This is a genuine, original Roland part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

A good blade holder is essential for clean contour cutting. When the holder wears, the blade can tilt or stop swivelling smoothly, causing ragged lines, rounded corners, missed cuts in small text or scoring of the liner. Replacing the holder restores precise blade control, and a second holder makes it easy to switch between blades for different media.
