Xaar 1201 Printhead Overview
The Xaar 1201 is a Thin Film Piezo Silicon MEMS technology printhead designed for wide-format graphics (WFG) and textile printing using dye sublimation, eco-solvent, aqueous, or UV inks. With 1280 nozzles arranged in 4 rows, it supports either 2 colors at 600 dpi or 4 colors at 300 dpi native resolution.
This printhead is ideal for OEMs developing graphics printers for banners, signage, textiles, and POS applications, combining best-in-class print quality, versatility, and easy integration to minimize time-to-market.
