Roland part 1000012576 (L-BEARING,SRS9XGMUUC1+680LM) is the linear guide used for the cutting carriage of the CAMM-1 GX-24, GS-24 and GS2-24 desktop vinyl cutters. It consists of a miniature SRS9 type guide rail, 680 mm long according to the part name, with its bearing block. This is a genuine, original Roland part – not a copy or compatible replacement.
The linear guide keeps the carriage running perfectly straight and free of play. When the balls or the rail surface wear, or dirt and old grease build up, the carriage begins to move roughly. You may notice a grinding or rumbling sound during fast moves, wobbly edges on curves, tiny steps in straight lines, uneven cutting depth and, in bad cases, motor errors caused by extra friction.
