Konica Minolta KM1024 MNB 14PL PRINTHEAD

The KM1024 MNB 14PL is an industrial-grade piezo on-demand printhead made by Konica Minolta. It uses shear mode technology and can run in both binary and 8-level greyscale modes. That means it can vary the drop size on its own, so you get better print quality without needing extra printheads.

You’ll sometimes see it written as just “KM1024 MN” — MN and MNB are the same model. It’s a genuine Konica part and comes with the waveform info you need.
How It’s Better Than the KM512 Series
- It has a new control IC and can print up to 8 different drop sizes, which gives you smoother color gradients and more accurate tones.
- It uses a low-capacitance actuator, so compared to the KM512 series, CO2 emissions during use are cut by about 50% and petroleum-based material use is down about 20%.
- The printhead is thinner, about 20% lighter than the KM512 series, and takes up about 20% less space.
- You can mount several KM1024 heads close together, which keeps alignment errors to a minimum — great for high-output single-pass inkjet printers.
