Original Mimaki CJV330 / JV330 / TS330 Capping Station – SPC-0945

The Mimaki SPC-0945 is the capping station for the CJV330, JV330 and TS330 printers. It sits in the maintenance area at the home position of the carriage. When the printer is idle, the caps seal the print heads to stop the ink in the nozzles from drying; during cleaning, ink is drawn out of the heads through the caps and sent to the waste ink system. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

Replace the capping station when the cap rubbers are worn, hardened or deformed, when ink has dried and built up around the caps, or when nozzles keep clogging and cleaning no longer recovers them. A poor seal lets air into the heads and causes missing nozzles, deflected drops and banding, so a worn station can make the print heads look faulty when they are not.
