The Mimaki M013957 is a single-layer flat pulley used in the belt drive of the JV150, JV300, CJV150 and CJV300 printers. Flat pulleys guide and tension a drive belt as it runs, so the belt stays aligned and transfers motion smoothly from the motor to the moving part of the machine. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

After long use the pulley bearing can wear, become rough or start to seize, and the running surface can wear unevenly. Typical symptoms are squeaking or grinding noise during movement, belt vibration, the belt running off to one side or wearing at the edge, and print defects such as banding or uneven positioning when the drive no longer moves smoothly. Replacing a worn pulley is inexpensive and protects the belt and motor from extra load.
