The Mimaki M024484 Y belt drive pulley is part of the Y-axis drive on a wide range of Mimaki printers: TS300P, UJF-MKII, UCJV300, UCJV150, JV330, CJV330, TS330 and UJV100. On these machines the Y axis is the carriage scan direction: the motor turns the drive pulley, and the pulley moves the toothed belt that pulls the carriage across the media. Because the same pulley is shared across these series, it is a useful spare for service technicians who look after several Mimaki models. Replace the drive pulley when its teeth are worn or damaged, when it is loose on its shaft, or when the belt slips or jumps. Typical symptoms are noise during carriage movement, banding or misregistration in the scan direction, Y-axis position errors and uneven belt wear.
