The Mimaki M018316 Rubber Wiper Unit Assy is the head wiper assembly in the maintenance station of the UJF-3042HG UV flatbed printer. Its rubber blade wipes the nozzle plate of the print heads during cleaning, removing ink, cured particles and dust so the nozzles can fire straight. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

Replace the wiper unit when the rubber blade is worn, hardened, cut or coated with cured UV ink, or when the wiper no longer contacts the head evenly. Typical signs are nozzles that drop out again soon after cleaning, deflected or misdirected jets, and ink smears on the head surface. A worn wiper can also scratch the nozzle plate, so regular replacement protects the expensive print heads.
