Original Mimaki UJF-3042MkII / UJF-6042MkII Pressurized Damper Fixing Plate – M604926

The M604926 pressurized damper fixing plate (original Mimaki name: Sub-Tank Fixing BKT) is a sheet-metal bracket on the carriage of Mimaki UJF-3042MkII, UJF-3042MkII e, UJF-6042MkII and UJF-6042MkII e UV flatbed printers. The pressurized ink dampers are mounted on this plate, which holds them at the correct position and height relative to the printheads. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

The plate can be bent during head or damper replacement, after a carriage collision, or when screws are overtightened. A deformed plate leaves the dampers misaligned or loose, which can stress the tubes and joints, cause ink leaks, let air into the ink path or affect the pressure balance between the dampers and the heads. Fitting a new original plate, together with the matching damper stopper M604927 if needed, restores a stable and secure damper mounting.
