Mimaki M018280 Overview
The Mimaki M018280 wiper slider assy is part of the head maintenance unit on UJF-7151 and UJF-7151 Plus flatbed UV printers. The wiper blade is mounted on this slider, which moves the wiper into position so it can wipe ink and dust from the nozzle surface of the print heads during cleaning. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.
Replace the wiper slider when it moves stiffly, sticks, is cracked or broken, or is covered with hardened UV ink. A faulty slider can leave the heads only partly wiped, push the wiper at the wrong height or cause wiper errors. Symptoms on the print include ink drops, deflected nozzles and missing nozzles that come back soon after cleaning.
