Original Mimaki UJF-A3FX / UJF-3042FX Cap Base Assy – M012118

The Mimaki M012118 cap base assembly is the capping unit of the maintenance station on UJF-A3FX and UJF-3042FX flatbed UV printers. When the carriage parks, the caps on this base seal the print heads. The seal is used for suction cleaning and keeps the nozzles from drying out while the printer is idle. M012118 is the current part number; the older code for the same part is M602596. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

Replace the cap base when the caps are worn, cracked or blocked with cured UV ink, or when suction cleaning no longer recovers nozzles. Other typical symptoms are nozzles that clog after standby, ink leaking in the station and cap related errors. A new assembly restores a tight seal and effective cleaning.
