Original Mimaki UJV100 / JV100 / TS100 Ink Damper Assy – M022556

The Mimaki M022556 ink damper assembly (original name: damper Fit) is mounted on the carriage of the UJV100-160 and JV100-160 printers, and is also listed for the TS100, between the ink supply tube and the printhead. It smooths out pressure changes caused by carriage movement and filters the ink, so the printhead receives a steady flow of clean ink. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

Dampers are wear parts. The film can lose its flexibility or leak, the filter can clog, and air can get into the damper. Typical symptoms are missing or deflected nozzles that return soon after cleaning, banding, ink dripping from the head, one colour printing weaker than the rest, or air visible in the damper. It is good practice to replace the dampers whenever a new printhead is installed, to protect the new head.
