Original Mimaki UJV100 / TS100 / JV330 / TS330 / UCJV300 Encoder Strip – E301358

The E301358 is the encoder strip (linear scale) for Mimaki UJV100, JV100, TS100, JV330, TS330 and UCJV300 printers. It is the 1600 size strip with a resolution of 150 lpi. The strip runs along the carriage path and is read by the encoder sensor on the carriage, giving the printer precise position information so that every drop of ink is fired at exactly the right place. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

Ink mist, dust, fingerprints or a scratch on the strip interrupt the encoder signal. Typical symptoms are encoder or carriage position errors, the carriage stopping during scanning, blurry or doubled printing, vertical misalignment and bidirectional print problems that cannot be corrected by adjustment. If careful cleaning does not cure the problem, or the strip is bent, scratched or stretched, it should be replaced with an original strip.
