The ASSY,FEED MOTOR SP-540V, part number 7876709020, is the media feed motor for a broad group of Roland VersaCAMM printer/cutters: the SP-300V and SP-540V, the SP-300i and SP-540i, the VP-300i and VP-540i, and the RS-540 and RS-640 printers. Roland introduced it as the new-type motor that replaces the original SP-300 feed motor 22805497. This is a genuine, original Roland part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

The feed motor turns the grit roller that moves the media forward and backward during printing and cutting. A worn feed motor causes feed or motor errors, media that stops advancing, uneven feed that shows up as horizontal banding, poor print-and-cut registration and loud grinding from the feed drive. Replacing the motor restores precise media movement.
