Original Roland VersaCAMM VP-540 / VP-300 / VP-540i Print Carriage Board – W700461110

The ASSY,PRINT CARRIAGE BOARD VP-540 (part number W700461110) is the carriage electronics board for the Roland VersaCAMM VP-540 and VP-300 printer/cutters and the later VP-540i and VP-300i. Many of these machines are still in daily production, and this board is one of the parts that keeps them running. This is a genuine, original Roland part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

The board sits on the carriage, takes data from the main board over the flat carriage cables and fires the print heads. It also connects the carriage sensors used for cutting and media detection. Failure symptoms include head errors when the machine is switched on, one head or set of colours not printing despite clean nozzles, garbled or striped prints and intermittent carriage errors. If a head has shorted, the carriage board is often damaged too and should be replaced at the same time.
