STARFIRE SG1024/L3F Industrial Inkjet Printhead
Overview
The SG1024/L3F is an industrial piezo drop-on-demand inkjet printhead from FUJIFILM Dimatix, part of the STARFIRE SG1024 F-Series. It’s built for tough, high-heat, high-wear jobs and prototyping work — and it’s especially good for sand casting and metal sintering in additive manufacturing. It handles the aggressive fluids these applications use without any trouble.
What Makes It Stand Out
It comes with a metal nozzle plate that resists wear and corrosion, so it keeps printing consistently over a long lifespan. With VersaDrop technology, a single printhead can switch between different drop sizes in binary mode and even do grayscale — giving you both precision and speed. The nozzle-level fluid recirculation keeps ink moving to prevent clogs and cut down on startup time, which really helps with high-pigment, fast-drying materials. It also has a built-in temperature sensor and temperature control (up to 50°C), plus 64 bytes of rewritable memory for OEM use.
