The Kyocera KJ4A-0300 is an industrial inkjet printhead from Kyocera’s KJ4A series. This series is built for higher-viscosity inks like UV-curable ones, and works well across all kinds of media — offset surprint, labels, and more. The KJ4A-0300 itself is a two-color, multi-pass head.
When it comes to performance, it runs at 300×300 dpi and packs 2,656 nozzles (two rows of 1,328 each), with a print width of 112.35 mm. The max drive frequency hits 30 kHz, and with a drop size as small as 4 picoliters, it keeps things sharp and steady even at speeds up to 158 m/min. You get four drop sizes to work with — 4, 6, 10, and 14 pL — so it handles both fine detail and heavy coverage. It’s designed for inks with a typical viscosity around 7.0–7.5 mPa·s.
Size-wise, the head measures about 200×36×61.4 mm and weighs roughly 540 g. It’s made in Japan. Thanks to optimized nozzle shapes, a higher drive frequency, and improved waterproof film, a single head can fire about 150 million dots per second — which makes it a solid fit for industrial printing jobs that need both speed and quality.
Common compatible machines include the Handtop HT2500UV HR8, the HT3200, and some Docan UV flatbed printers.
