Original Mimaki UCJV150 / UCJV300 Cap Absorber Set – SPA-0296

The Mimaki SPA-0296 cap absorber set contains the absorbent sponges used in the capping station of UCJV150 and UCJV300 series UV print-and-cut printers. The capping station seals the print heads when the carriage is parked and collects ink during cleaning and flushing; the absorbers soak up this ink and mist so it does not build up around the caps. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.

With use, the absorbers become saturated and ink can harden on them, especially with UV ink. A saturated absorber can let ink overflow onto the caps, cause poor cap sealing, contaminate the nozzle surface and lead to drying nozzles or failed cleanings. Replace the set when the sponges are dark, hard or overflowing, or during scheduled maintenance of the capping station.
