Mimaki M525174 Overview
The M525174 cap base plate F is the bottom plate of the capping station in Mimaki UJF-A3MkII, UJF-3042MkII and UJF-6042MkII UV flatbed printers. The caps and their mechanism are mounted on this plate, which keeps them level and in the correct position under the printheads. This is a genuine, original Mimaki part – not a copy or compatible replacement.
The base plate can be bent during repairs or after a carriage collision, and waste ink can build up on it or corrode it over time. When the plate is not flat or the mounting points are damaged, the caps no longer meet the heads squarely. This leads to poor sealing, weak suction during cleaning, nozzles that dry out and ink leaking in the maintenance area. Replacing the plate gives the capping station a correct, solid foundation again.
