Roland 6000006825 Overview
Part number 6000006825 is the current U-type ink pump (Roland part name ASSY,PUMP SUB XC-540) for a very wide range of Roland eco-solvent printers and printer/cutters, from the VersaEXPRESS RF-640 and VersaCAMM VS-640i to the SOLJET XC-540, XJ-740 and XR-640. This is a genuine, original Roland part – not a copy or compatible replacement.
The pump sits below the capping station. When the printer runs a cleaning, it pulls ink through the heads via the cap top and pushes waste ink into the drain bottle. Signs of a tired pump include cleanings that do not bring nozzles back, ink left standing in the cap, a dry waste bottle or unusual noise from the pump motor area.
